Richard McMillan focuses his practice on oil & gas/energy litigation and transactions.

• Represented both mineral owners and oil and gas exploration companies in the negotiation of oil and gas leases on ranch land and urban drill sites
• Represented both landowners and oil and gas exploration companies in the negotiation of surface use agreements, seismic agreements, easement agreements, master work service agreements, operating agreements, and large-scale development agreements.
• Represented multiple trusts, individuals, and corporate entities in connection with the purchase and sale of oil and gas interests
• Represented clients in major acquisitions and divestitures of oil and gas properties
• Represented numerous oil and gas exploration companies and individuals in connection with a wide variety of energy litigation matters, including issues related to lease termination, trespass, nuisance, and breach of contract
