The United States Senate confirmed David S. Morales
to a seat on the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
David Morales was confirmed Wednesday to fill the vacancy on the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas that was left open when U.S. District Judge Janis Graham Jack took senior status in 2011. President Donald Trump nominated Morales to fill the seat in April 2018. After yesterday’s Senate vote, Senator Ted Cruz stated, “I am delighted my Senate colleagues have confirmed David Morales to the federal bench.
