Hannah Penley joins the firm as an associate in the Labor & Employment Practice Group, Fort Worth office and Jeff Kuhnhenn joins the firm as an associate in the Oil & Gas/Energy Practice Group, Midland office.
Hannah Penley graduated, summa cum laude, with a B.A. from the University of Mississippi in 2011. She received her J.D. from Baylor Law School in 2014 and participated in the American Association for Justice Mock Trial Competition and the Emory Civil Rights and Liberties Moot Court Competition. Hannah Penley was a recipient of the Dean’s Academic Excellence Scholarship. From 2014-2015, Hannah clerked for the Honorable Sam R. Cummings, U.S. District Court Judge for the Northern District of Texas.
Jeff Kuhnhenn graduated with a B.S. from Arizona State University in 2008. He received his J.D. from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2011 and served as executive editor of The Scholar: St. Mary’s Law Review on Minority Issues. Since 2011, Jeff has clerked for the Honorable Robert A. Junell, U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas, Midland-Odessa & Pecos Divisions. During his clerkship, Jeff assisted with 70 criminal jury trials.
Jeff Kuhnhenn currently chair’s the Pro Bono section of the Midland County Young Lawyers Association.
