Bill B. Caraway joins Kelly Hart as a partner in the Oil & Gas/Energy Practice Group, Midland office.
Bill Caraway represents corporate and individual clients in a broad range of civil litigation matters, including business and commercial disputes, medical malpractice, products liability claims, personal injury claims, employment law, and civil rights litigation. In addition, Bill represents landowners and exploration companies in state and federal courts involving such matters as lease interpretation issues, surface use disputes, lease termination disputes and mineral ownership rights. His transactional practice includes the negotiation of oil and gas leases, eminent domain proceedings, real estate documentation, loan transactions, and corporate formations.
Prior to joining the firm, Bill B. Caraway was a solo practitioner in the Eagleford Shale area of South Texas. In addition to oil and gas litigation, Bill represented clients in civil and criminal litigation matters. His transactional business included oil and gas leases, real estate documentation, and loan transactions. Bill has been recognized as a Texas "Super Lawyer" by Thomson Reuters and is rated AV Preeminent® by Martindale Hubbell. Bill is an active member of the Texas State Bar Association.
Bill received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Washington & Lee University School of Law and served as executive editor of the Washington & Lee Law Review. He earned his undergraduate degree from Texas Tech University.
