David Keltner and Taylor Spalla Co-Author Texas Title Disputes Paper

David Keltner and Taylor Spalla co-authored a paper titled “The Presumed Grant Theory and its Application to Texas Title Disputes.”

The Theory is “described as a common law form of adverse possession” to establish title for one entitled to ownership through eons of open and unchallenged ownership that lacks record title because of an unexplained gap in title transfer. Mr. Keltner made the oral presentation of the paper at the CLE on January 10, 2020.   Oil and Gas Disputes 2020 is presented by the TexasBarCLE and co-sponsored by the Oil, Gas and Energy Resources Section of the State Bar of Texas.
