Julia G. Hood
BIOGRAPHY
Julia G. Hood is an associate in the Corporate & Securities section of the firm. Ms. Hood currently focuses her practice on general corporate and business transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity investments, and strategic and platform stock and asset acquisitions and dispositions. Ms. Hood completed her undergraduate studies at Texas Christian University, obtaining a B.S. degree. She went on to earn her J.D. from Texas A&M University School of Law. As an active member of the legal community, she maintains affiliations with the State Bar of Texas, the Tarrant County Bar Association, and the Tarrant County Young Lawyers Association.
EXPERIENCE AND HIGHLIGHTS
- Represented multiple companies at the administrative and judicial stages in their appeals regarding denial of Paycheck Protection Program benefits
- Represented individuals in a complex federal fraud forfeiture case involving a $30 million Ponzi scheme
