David Keltner and Justice David Gunn of the First Court of Appeals were honored with the 2025 Helen A. Cassidy Award by the State Bar of Texas Appellate Practice Section for their paper on recent Texas Supreme Court cases involving jury charges. This award is given each year to the individual(s) who receive the highest evaluations during the prior year’s Advanced Civil Appellate Practice Course.
