Kristine D. Vitemb

BIOGRAPHY

Kristine D. Vitemb holds the position of senior counsel within the Litigation section of the firm. With over a decade of experience, Ms. Vitemb specializes in facilitating resolutions for businesses and individuals embroiled in various disputes and litigation matters. Her expertise spans complex commercial disputes, business torts, personal injury cases, and employment matters.

Before joining Kelly Hart, Ms. Vitemb served as assistant regional counsel at the Social Security Administration – Office of the General Counsel. In this role, she oversaw a broad spectrum of employment issues for the SSA, including leading arbitration proceedings, extensive motion practice, providing risk analysis and employment guidance, and actively participating in alternative dispute resolution. Additionally, Ms. Vitemb acted as lead counsel for the SSA on numerous federal district court and appellate matters, successfully defending Agency decisions before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth and Eighth Circuits through adept briefing and oral argumentation.

Ms. Vitemb graduated from Texas A&M University, summa cum laude, with a B.A. in History and Psychology. She received her J.D., cum laude, from The University of Texas School of Law.
